Vardan Voskanyan: There is no fertile ground for post-election processes in Iran

The elections in Iran were free, fair and transparent.

In fact, the free, fair and transparent elections were held in Iran, of course, within the political system that is propagating the Muslim democracy. Head of the Department of Iranian Studies of the YSU, Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan emphasizes that no one complains about electoral processes in Iran. "Naturally, there are people who were for another candidate, but there are no complaints about the electoral process," the Iranologist notes.

Iranian media, called "Iranian CNN", while reading congratulatory letters received in honor of the reelection of Rohani, in the first three the name of the president of Armenia was mentioned. “Everything is clear in the case of the first two countries, Tajikistan and Afghanistan as they are Persian-speaking countries. In the case of Armenia there is an interesting tendency. If this was done on purpose, then this case shows that the Iranians consider Armenia to be a "dear country," it is pleasant and influences a certain part of the audience,” Voskanyan says.
