They are watching us

Urban legends or reality? Are the hackers able to watch us in the truest sense of the word? Is it a myth or reality that it is possible to spy on a person through a webcam, to get access to his files, look at his photos, and eventually turn on the microphone and hear what he says? And what are the ways of tracking through the phone?
