On February 25, between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., the Azerbaijani army attempted to attack simultaneously in two directions of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) and Azerbaijan - south-eastern (Martuni) and eastern (Akna), deploying mine-clearance equipment and special facilities.
The Defense Army advanced units timely detected the advance of Azerbaijani units on both directions, also thanks to video devices, and threw them back to the initial positions causing human losses. As a result of the actions of the Defense Army advanced units, the Azerbaijani armed forces suffered human losses and have wounded. Several bodies are in the neutral zone. The Artsakh side has neither casualties nor wounded.
At the same time, according to the reliable information of the Defense Army, movement in manpower and military equipment of Azerbaijani forces is observed in the eastern direction.
The Defense Army advanced units continue to confidently maintain full control over the frontline and are ready to give an adequate response to any provocation by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
