Kamo Mailyan: The greater the incomes of citizens, the greater the desire to emigrate from Armenia
As a result of migration, a number of problems related to conscription and economy arise in Armenia which affects national security.
The program “Paradigm” hosts the executive director and deputy executive director of the Depop Institute for Governance Sarkis Shahinian and Kamo Mailyan. The program refers to the emigration problem. Sargis Shahinian emphasizes that the issue of migration is closely linked to the national security. Speaking about the causes of migration, Shahinian singles out unimplemented and not properly implemented political actions.
Kamo Mayilyan, deputy director of Depop Institute, notes that according to the institute research the greater the incomes of citizens, the greater the desire to emigrate from Armenia.
