Samvel Farmanyan: It is necessary to get rid of all negative phenomena, from bad governance to inadequate political elite

After parliamentary elections, the Republican party received a “fantastic” opportunity to assume responsibility and implement real reforms. So what can actually be expected? In response to this question, PRA faction MP Samvel Farmanyan emphasizes that not implementing these all would be an unforgivable irresponsibility towards our statehood. “Armenia has no alternative way of development. We must get rid of all the negative phenomena, from bad governance to inadequate political elite, corruption,” he notes.

According to Samvel Farmanyan, we should get rid of “this disease” step by step and virtuous and patriotic individuals should form the political elite. “Although it is still visible not for everyone, but the perception of power will change with constitutional, new legal solutions and election results” he assures.

The politician believes that the country has managed to overcome a number of previous shortcomings. “We all realize that besides new government being formed through elections, either a burst of optimism occurs in the consciousness of the society together with confidence in the future that motivates each member of society or vice versa.” the deputy stresses.
