The latest parliamentary elections both in their content and form differ from the previous ones. Lawyer Norayr Norikyan believes the uniqueness of these elections is that “political reflection” of the country will be formed by them and the new Constitution. “Thus, the whole society focused on the outcome and not on the process of elections,” he stresses.
According to the lawyer, the only statement we can make so far regarding these elections, is the following, these were the only elections that did not lead to the post-election processes. “The massive apparent violations that have always been recorded, have not been recorded this time. However, I am far from thinking that these elections were held under ideal conditions since this time latent crimes had a significant impact and eventually affected the election results,” Norikyan explains.
Norikyan supposes that no application was created by the society ahead of the elections to make real changes.
