Gagik Ginosyan: It is not the weapon that wins, it is the will and the spirit

We have won the war, but lost in the peacetime.

Even the thought of the liberation of Shushi seemed meaningless. Freedom fighter Gagik Ginosyan continues, quoting the words of the outstanding political figure, philosopher Hayk Asatryan, “The logic of the events dictates that we are going to be collapsed, but the logic of the spirit dictates something completely different” “It was the logic of the spirit that dictated that Shushi should be liberated,” Gagik Ginosyan emphasizes.

The former freedom fighter stresses that the decision to liberate Shushi was taken between volunteers and commanders, which was met with little enthusiasm among the higher authorities, moreover, there were disagreements. “The liberation of Shushi should also serve as a great lesson for those who propagate good-neighborly relations today. The homeland belongs to the older and, especially, to the future generation. We do not have the right to give them an imperfect homeland,” he says.

Ginosyan believes that the Armenian side has such significant levers and materials to put on the negotiating table that Azerbaijan will not find it funny, but for some reason, we are asking for a pity. "Our diplomacy is abandoned," Gagik Ginosyan notes. The details of the conversation in the program “Paradigm”.
