From pre-school to higher education: the issues in education system according to the expert

Generally, the education benchmark is lowered in Armenia. To develop an education system, a completely different level of functioning, thinking and planning are needed. YSU lecturer, expert on education Serob Khachatryan adds that the present level of management does not meet the requirements of the time. “The methods we are applying have been exhausted,” the expert emphasizes.


Besides the reduction of graduates and emigration, Serob Khachatryan also thinks that the Armenian universities are experiencing a qualitative decline. “In other words, if the graduates have their preferred specializations at American, French universities or foreign universities, the best graduates choose these ones," the education expert says.
