There is a serious possibility that corruption can destroy Armenia: Varuzhan Hoktanyan

Corruption is a systemic defect in Armenia.

Corruption is the most terrible and serious "monster. Unlike the "Loch Ness Monster" it actually exists. Varuzhan Hoktanyan, director of the "Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center in Armenia", making a figurative comparison with the Scottish legend monster emphasised that corruption has existed for centuries.

"That monster has destroyed different empires. Of course, at that time, the word corruption didn’t exist, but when we study the history of these countries, especially the recent periods, we meet this phenomenon. Corruption is a systemic defect in Armenia, it is a systemic phenomenon. Corruption has greatly contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union. So the claim that corruption can destroy Armenia is not unserious",- Varuzhan Hoktanyan says.

How to reduce the corruption? is it possible to overcome this phenomenon completely? What kind of steps should be taken to reduce corruption and what kind of steps have been taken so far? Answers to these and other questions in the program “Paradigm”.
