ANC will claim to be a democratic counterweight in the next parliament - Levon Zurabyan

How is the “Armenian National Congress” party positioned in the current processes? Will it take part in the snap parliamentary elections? Answering these questions, ANC deputy chairman Levon Zurabyan emphasizes that the party should support Pashinyan's authority in two priority issues.

“The first is the matter of snap elections, which should be transparent, without bribes and pressure, and second is the formation of a democratic counterweight. Ideally, we should have a parliament where there is a majority, that is, a government that has revolutionized and put forward an agenda, but there must also be a counterbalance,” the deputy chairman says.

In this case, which of the political forces can become this counterweight? Levon Zurabyan immediately excludes the Republican Party. “They are fully discredited, and nothing can help them become a force worthy of choice,” the politician notes.
