In Armenia, many officials made huge fortunes by abusing their position - Hayk Konjoryan

Besides Manvel Grigoryan, there are many people in Armenia that have amassed huge fortunes over the years by abusing their position and influence. Member of “Yelk” faction Hayk Konjoryan adds that part of this fortunes was withdrawn from the country. “Obviously, we have many people like them here. There are many armed groups in Armenia that can shoot from such weapons at any time. Some of them have been repeatedly involved in electoral processes including Manvel Grigoryan,” the MP says.

Hayk Konjoryan is sure that Manvel Grigoryan was one of the most important political shields of the Republican Party of Armenia and, being the leader of the power structure, provided a huge number of services to the Republicans. “And for me it's very strange that the Republicans say they did not know about it. Knowing all the resources and all the national security data, the leadership of the country and the Republican Party of Armenia could not but be aware of the extent of the abuses by Manvel Grigoryan,” Konjoryan says.

A member of the “Yelk” faction cites his recent statement to the National Assembly, which refers to Republicans and former authorities: “If you knew about everything and did nothing, then you are to blame, if having the entire operational base, you didn’t know anything, then you are doubly guilty.” Find the details in program “Paradigm”.
