Political strategist: The technologies of 1990’s are used in these elections

“The formed alliances are artificial and their formation process is rather a publicity stunt that has failed.”

The program “Questioning the Powerholder” hosts political strategist Armen Badalyan. According to him, technologies used in this campaign are reminiscent of 1990-91 technologies.

“There is nothing new in this campaign; for a new word we need a new approach, which is missing,” Badalyan emphasizes. The formed alliances are artificial and their formation process is rather a publicity stunt, a use of force that has failed.

“The alliances should be formed among equal forces,” the political strategist notes.

Badalyan believes that today in Armenia, the political force may stay inactive for years, meanwhile during the election campaign may have an impact on the voters due to the promises and populist messages.
